Our goal was to create simple, yet elegant and beautiful designs for our wedding stationery and carry this through every detail of our wedding day. We wanted to use a toned down colour palate of nude shades and silver greens to bring out the natural beauty of our surroundings.
My Role: Wedding Stationery Design, Print, Website Design, Production Design, Wedding Planning
The Client: Myself and Bryce Dahlen
To start off with, being your own client can sometimes be both the best (complete creative freedom) and also the worst (complete creative freedom). It’s definitely a double-edged sword which made it challenging to craft a look and feel that met both of our expectations, yet was able to be budget friendly. Everything about our wedding was DIY so I had to juggle both designing and creating all of the elements while also working full time.
Through countless hours, blood, sweat and tears, our vision came to life more than we could have ever dreamed of. Our big day was absolutely magical! Although, I have to say that it truly takes an army to create and plan a wedding and we need to thank all of our selfless family and friends for all of their help!
