yes, no and WOW!

Wow is the one to aim for”

The Secret Garden

The Brief:

Cameron and Paris came to me looking for custom wedding stationery with a secret garden and woodsy theme. They wanted pieces that were elegant, yet modern, which would match their chosen venue for their big day.

My Role: Wedding Stationery Design, Print, Production Design

The Client: Cameron and Paris Pierce

The Challenge:

With Cameron and Paris living abroad in France, my communication skills were definitely put to the test. I had never had to showcase sketches all the way through to picking out cardstock options via text/email only. Facetime was rarely an option because of the time change. For design specific work, although I love watercolour and have been painting for years, this was my first time digitizing it and proved to be a challenge with the delicate flowers.

The outcome:

I was incredibly thankful the client gave me enough notice on their custom wedding stationery because we truly had the time to work closely together remotely and perfect the final deliverables one piece at a time. All three of us couldn’t have been happier with the results and it was wonderful hearing their feedback about all of the compliments they were receiving. On top of this, I’m now a wiz at digitizing watercolour and have to stop myself from using it on all of my designs because it’s so gorgeous!
